The Austin Chapter of CPAs is offering a free nonprofit financial class for the community.  It’s a great overview for board members, accounting staff new to nonprofits or donors wanting to understand how their funds are used.  More info here.  Anyone is welcome, but be sure to RSVP!  I teach the tax portion of the class, and it’s good information for any nonprofit to know – even if you file Form 990-EZ or 990-N.  Learn how to protect the exempt status of your organization.  Hope to see you there!
